THIS IS MY STORY
With experience reporting and producing across both local and national platforms, my work includes developing content in both broadcast and digital-first newsrooms. Driven by a passion for in-depth storytelling and community service, I’ve covered major breaking news and high-impact national events, bringing integrity, authenticity, and a strong public-service lens to my storytelling. I've also provided live, breaking news coverage of significant events such as the Derek Chauvin trial, Hurricane Ida, the Astroworld concert tragedy, the January 6th insurrection, and Russia's war on Ukraine, the Hamas Gaza Conflict, President Biden's campaign and extensive hurricane coverage.
After serving with U.S. Civil Service Corporation, AmeriCorps, I remain passionate about empowering communities through the information. Growing up in New Orleans, a city rich in art and culture, has also profoundly shaped my professional interests. Thus, alongside hard news coverage, I have a deep-rooted passion for cultural topics as well. I also hold a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Colleagues describe me as curious, supportive, relatable, and enjoyable to work with. Throughout my career, I have often been sought after for collaborative solutions to team challenges.
I would love to connect with you and explore potential collaborations!
